I think this is great news, having a big sponsor will greatly increase the sports standing, and will make other sponsors sit up and take note potentially investing/sponsoring themselves.

I was there and couldn't make the gap, recon it was 30ft, good fun but not in the wind though, big thanks to all the people who put this event on and helped out, beer tent and live music, sun what more could you want. top weekend, even had Rachel Atherton serving the odd pint.

I would throw caution to this news, firstly will all the teams be able to afford to enter both comps, freecaster won't do this for nothing so how much will they charge to view? will we see the bigger teams enter both and the smaller ones just one? meaning it would be like a first and second division sport. It could mean that fringe riders could get on the world stage. This could be great news for the sport or it could send teams under. More meat on the bones please!!!!!
